This sand filter uses a side-mount system, with the six-way valve mounted on the side of the filter tank. This ensures even water distribution across the entire sand bed, significantly improving filter performance compared to a top-mount system. Maintenance is also easier. Thanks to the transparent filter lid and built-in air vent, checking the filter's operation is much easier without having to open the filter.

The six-way valve offers all the standard functions for efficient filter system operation. During normal operation, the water flows from top to bottom through the filter media. When the sand needs to be rinsed, the water flow reverses, allowing the dirty water to be flushed away using the rinse function. There's also a function to close all valves and a function to drain pool water directly to the sewer. Finally, there's a circulation function that allows you to circulate the water without filtration, for example, when treating green water with chlorine shock.
